You answered your own question. It's because she is conservative, black, and a woman. Too many blacks and women support liberals because they run on passion over principle. If they put principle first and stopped exploiting their race/sex then maybe conservatives would have more support from blacks and women.
She's a Conservative Black Woman and most likely believes in Dr. Kings perspective that people should ';...be judged by the sweat on their brow, not the color of their skin';.
