The Liberal government remained in power until 1915. It was not voted out, but Conservatives were invited into the government and a coalition government (sometimes called a ';British'; government) was formed after the Gallipoli disaster in World War I. In 1916 the government was again reorganized with predominantly Conservative ministers and was more officially called a coalition government.
