All the neocons on here talk about how the media and public education and colleges are liberal. Is it possible that they are not liberal, but in fact snakes don't talk, being homosexual isn't a choice, war isn't good, and the free market doesn't always work? Or maybe they're just promoting their atheistic Communist agenda?Since the media and the education system have a liberal bias, is it possible reality has a liberal bias?
';public education and colleges are liberal';.
So if the intelligent people in the US are liberal, what does that say about the conservatives.Since the media and the education system have a liberal bias, is it possible reality has a liberal bias?
There is a strong tendency of liberals to equate education with intelligence. Sadly higher and higher levels of education serve to remove the individual from reality. There is a reason that ';ivory tower'; has entered into normal jargon.
Your point about whether the media, educators and colleges are more reality based is an interesting question but on what scale could it be measured. No matter what you choose you will find that the perception of the world will be biased by the observation tool (Kind of a Heisenberg's Uncertainty Principle applied to political biases). I do think, however, that dismissing conservatives as uneducated rubes tends to expose the lack of intellectual discipline of the complaining liberal far more than the conservative lack of understanding.
Of course snakes don't talk, please identify the genetic structure of a homosexual and the exact manner in which that gene is passed on to the next generation of homosexuals (recessives are passed down when they are not counter to the survival of the gene), war is never good - but is sometimes necessary (altho' in Iraq it sure wasn't), and the free market doesn't always work (tho' it beats the alternatives hands down).
Hope that helps.
