I've read about it and so far I don't like it, but I'm open to hear more opinions about it from more liberal minds instead of conservatives.
Just tell me what it's about and what you like/don't like about it.
I've heard enough people bash it, so I would REALLY appreciate some positive feedback on it.From a liberal point of view, what are the positives of Obama's health care plan?
Less people will die from not being able to afford medicine and medical care.From a liberal point of view, what are the positives of Obama's health care plan?
At some point even the most simple minded faux liberals will realize that the health care bill is not about health care. It is about seizing control of a substantial part of the economy and positioning the government to take even more control once the system collapses of its own weight. It is the same game plan as the Franks and Dodd led fair housing act which was designed to tank the housing and financial sectors, which it did enabling massive government intervention.
The real liberal understands what it is about and endorses it because they want capitalism and America as we know it to fail. They have guilt over the worlds history of colonialism, slavery, etc., and want to move towards a world utopia of everyone sharing all of the worlds resources equally. Unfortunately, they haven't explained how that is going to work in a world of thousands of different cultures and priorities. I guess they will work it out with the Islamic fascists somehow or another and get back with us. The point is the real liberal knows these programs are designed to end free enterprise, they just aren't brave enough to admit it.
Here's a liberal article about the public option: http://www.prospect.org/cs/articles?arti鈥?/a>
I wish the conservatives would just stop whining about this and get on board...damn, you lost the election, get over it, it's broken and needs to be fixed, someone finally has enough guts to do it, stop believing and/or spreading the rhetoric (if conservatives are so religious then why are they intolerant and lie so much? and I'm not that naive to think that all sides are innocent, they're not, but at least a lying atheist isn't a hypocrite!)
I'm more to the center than left, I believe the system is terribly broken, I hate my healthcare, I pay a ton for it and get less and less. I watched the GOP ';reform'; medicare with advice from pharmaceutical CEO's (but oh no, they're not greedy!) which costs my parents a fortune...it was bad deal. I guess what I'm saying is stfu and let someone else try.
0bamacare is NOT about health, it's about CONTROL. Once you control healthcare, you control all the habits that lead to government-defined ';good health';...
Overweight?... ';Oooh... sorry, you can't buy that cheeseburger';.
High cholesterol? - ';Can't sell you that nice Gouda you like this week';
Marginal blood sugar? - ';Oh... too bad... can't have that bottle of Scotch. 0bamacare rules, y'know';
Want another martini?... ';You'll have to blow in the tube to be sure you can handle it.';
Think not? It's ALREADY HAPPENING!
Big Brother would be PROUD!
from a liberal point of view:
easy access to healthcare (insurance) for all.
which means cheaper medicine and visits (people will no longer go bankrupt just be/c they're sick)
The indigent and poor who already draw from tax dollars will now do so at less cost,'
Insurance rates may be stabilized
Folks on insurance will be treated more fairly and uniformly
Did Obama write this one?
For me, the biggest positive is seeing all the lies and anger that are coming out of the right wing propaganda machine.
There is nothing positive about this bill. The Dems want to tell us it will lower premiums and health care costs. They're dreaming.
Liberal women can now get an abortion a day..........pay for by tax payers
From a Liberal point of view:
FREE HEALTHCARE FOR ALL!
lmao.....
Brilliant question...
cause THEY CAN'T TELL YOU!!!!
Why don't you like it? Hmm?
It's the first real *attempt* to fix what should've been done years ago: A broken health care system.
Some conservatives are too concerned about COST. But what is the *true* cost to not doing anything and letting things as they are?
There are 46 MILLION people--Americans like you from all walks of life--whom don't *have* affordable health care insurance.
Think back to when Bush was in office. Do you think he really cared or *acknowledged* the burdens of those whom had to go without health care insurance--because they were either denied based on pre-existing conditions, or they simply couldn't *afford* to buy such costly insurance in the first place?
No.
Bush treated the whole thing as if it were some kind of JOKE. Then--when he *did* pass his own version of health care reform--it didn't benefit anyone but the health care industries that both he and the Republican Party are out to protect.
You may not like what Obama is doing because he's Democrat, but how would YOU approach the health care problem? What would conservatives like yourself do to cover the millions that don't have health care insurance?
From what I've read, both conservatives and Republicans are only concerned with *cost* ONLY--not coverage.
And that's the real tragedy right there. Keeping health care costs LOW isn't the same as coverage.
It still does not deal with HOW millions of Americans are going to get covered if the insurance companies keep jacking up their premiums and continue to *deny* people based on pre-existing conditions.
That's why some conservatives are so AGAINST it. And why the GOP has been fighting the bill every step of the way.
It's not about your health, my health, or the health of millions of unisured Americans.
It's about MONEY.
From a'; liberal point of view '; we can finally get rid of grandma .
