I'm mostly interested sociology, psychology, music theory and writing, poetry, etc.
I'm planning on going to a liberal arts college, then probably going to Berkeley music school.
So what would you suggest for the best liberal arts college?

US News%26amp;World Report ^^^
I honestly think, though, that you should just start investigating any that appear interesting to you and go where you feel most comfortable. they all teach the same stuff, none of them are the best for any reason other than reputation (which is partly mythical)...
i attended the one where i felt most at home, it was ranked at about 100th -- but because i liked it so much and did so well, i was able to go from there to a top ten graduate program. What matters is not where you go, but how well you do while you're there.
they're all the same, honestly, the teachers will be just as good at 100 as at 10 (speaking from experience, they are sometimes *better* at 100 than at 10). decide based on size, campus facilities, location location location, acceptance rates into grad programs,
basically choose based on getting to know a school really well - don't choose because of a magazine's rankings.

Oberlin, Ithaca, Smith, Williams, Swathmore.
Amherst College. BUT, although Oberlin is not as prestigious, it does have a music conservatory:

Regardless, you will need stellar grades, fantastic SAT scores, an array of extracurricular activities probably including community service, and an outstanding essay to get into either school.
university of michigan, ann arbor
berkeley is good too though.
