Much of it has to do with the liberal college professors that only preach one side of the story.





Our colleges and universities have been run over by liberal freaks.

The Republican party used to be the party of freedom, personal freedom and responsibility for one's own actions. The thought was that as people made decisions, they would correct mistakes.





Years ago, folks like Karl Rove learned that if you could get the nut cases out to vote against something, before normal people noticed, you could win elections. The Republicans changed the definition of conservative from fiscal and personal responsibility to borrow and spend and pass laws that enforce a narrow religious view.





With that definition of conservative, most moderates qualify as liberal (non-conservative). I am a true conservative Republican (fiscal conservative/social libertarian). But I will vote for Obama. Why, because freedom is more important to me than anything else. If that causes me to be called a ';liberal'; so be it. You are wrong, but so be it.
For the same reasons that American citizens decide to become American conservatives...it's called assessing one's values as well as recognizing the political viewpoints on the Left-Right Political Spectrum and each position of the political viewpoints on social, economic, and international issues...then align oneself to that position...The main point is...self-knowledge and most people are mindlessly adopting the political viewpoints of their church, parents, teachers, or media ';opinion'; leaders rather than conducting their own their own ';values assessment'; and self-examination.
I read a published report many years back that says most people will support the political views and parties that their parents supported. So that's a start, obviously, this is not always the case. Hopefully you align yourself with a particular party based on issues (are they for or against) what you believe in, etc. I think there are clear cut underlying fundamentals of both parties, that are vastly different, regardless of what is being said on the surface.
A lobotomy. Being brought up by lazy career welfare recipients. Self loathing and a ridiculous sense of guilty conscienceness. Not understanding the differencence between theory and reality. Not truly understanding the sacrifices and lives lost thru-out American history for the traditional values this country was founded on and how quickly the freedoms they take for granted can be lost and have to be fought for all over again because of their goofy way of thinking, to name a few.
That we want a better America. That one of the reasons we broke from England was separation of church and state. That your beliefs whatever they are and MINE whatever they are should be protected and that our civil liberties should have dignity instead of hiding out and being abused. That we don't just SAY we want a fiscally sound budget but we balance the budget. That small government should not come in the guise of not giving to the American citizen but to Big Business in the form of CORPORATE WELFARE. Which may not be taxed in the R's administration but you cannot keep getting money from other countries without making them stronger and us weaker. That traditional value should and has never been in my eyes are most of the worlds eye lies, corruption and dishonor. That this is not the 20th century and that any war in the 21st century can be a drastic and fatal one. We don't just have shoot em up guns. That diplomacy and allies are very important in the strength of a nation.
Well when they see that being conservative is letting all our jobs go overseas. When the real rich give million dollar bonuses and then tell the American workers that they don't have enough money for health care for there workers.


When the Middle class is being destroyed buy the so called conservatives that tell them that the Liberals are destroying there way of life.
When an American wants to see the Constitution preserved, and not have it torn appart by people placing their own personal religious views on others, and making ploicies by these personal judgements.


McCain / Palin go against American ways.


Freedom of religion- (Palin wants jesus for Jews)


Freedom of Press- (she wants to ban certain books, and had an Alaskan Librarian sacked.


Freedom of Choice! - she wants abortion banned even in rape!


Pray for Gays- Again, her personal religious view on something America has decided is legal.

It's determined by culture. Culture is largely inherited. Most people become what their parents are.





Besides that, there is a clear correlation between education, intelligence, income, life expecteancy, and liberalism.
Lack of knowledge of history, etc. combined with the liberally biased school system. The teachers union is responsible for that. The liberal news media. The liberal entertainment industry. All of these must be addressed soon.

My unbiased answer... Some people have liberal values where personal choices and freedom matter more. Some people have conservative values where tradition and morality matter more than freedom.

The Founding Fathers said Freedom of Religion for people to worship as they please. So WHY has one religion determined what's to be.
Well to be a Liberal one has to have a compassionate heart, and simply has to care about the well being of their fellow human being
I think it's a lack of education. Just look at how many Obama supporters there are that can't give you one good reason as to why they're voting for him.
Children are taught and preached to by teachers (Liberal Arts degree) all of their early lives. Can you blame them for taking that ideology?
Liberal=Love of Liberty and fairness to all, not just the rich and religious.
Everyone is born a liberal, conservatives grow up.
Rebellion against their conservative parents.
Most are raised this way, and later turn republican after they see the lies of the dems
Concern for the well being of ALL Americans, not just the chosen few.
When they begin to blame others for their life failures.
Because liberals were born with brains.
Basic Intelligence.
