Are any other Republicans wondering why we nominated our most liberal senator to run for president?

The liberals nominated their most liberal senator and we nominated our most liberal senator. Why did we do that? Are any other Republicans wondering why we nominated our most liberal senator to run for president?
Because it has become clear that the values and policies of the right are not good for our country. With Republicans controlling all three branches of government for the first time, they were able to execute their policies like never before. Those policies have damaged America's prosperity, power, and image. Because we are a country of patriots, people are abandoning the antiquated values of the far right and attempting to strengthen our country by electing a more liberal administration to run it. Are any other Republicans wondering why we nominated our most liberal senator to run for president?
I didn't vote for Bush in his first primary. I voted for Pete Wilson, then-governor of California. I wound up with Bush as my candidate, so I voted for him because there was no way under the sun I could ever have possibly imagined voting for Gore. That would be like a loyal Chevy owner voting for Henry Ford for something.

I begrudgingly voted for McCain in this primary, but only because by the time it got to New Mexico, I had a choice between him and Ron ';Idiot'; Paul. Now I'll vote for McCain in the general election because I'm certainly not voting for Barrack ';Henry Ford'; Obama.
Because Republicans want to win...

BTW, do you think that GW Bush is ';conservative';? Just wondering?
It's just a very clever ploy to get a stauchly right-wing neo-con evangelical but utterly unknown VP into office. Then McCain will abdicate.
Because few people like true conservatism anymore; even Republicans.
Because we live in a liberal society.
It's ok, at least your VP is sufficiently batshit insane.
It is our only shot to win this election.
