Change refers to how the Republicans have had a stranglehold on federal government for most of the time the last 28 years, and it's been disaster after disaster.





Instead of continuing to drive the country into the ground, and destroying most people's hope of ever having a decent life, change into something more rational and workable is GOOD.





';Increases in Taxes'; -- that is, rolling back the tax cuts Bush gave the rich. It makes no sense for the people with hardly any money to have most of the tax burden, and the people with almost all the money to not pay proportionately to their wealth.





Morons don't realize that ';trickle down'; never does -- except that we, who have no money and pay tax, have to pay for the corruption of those who have most of the money and pay little tax.





How is that fair?





The rich pick our pocket at each point. We pay for their subsidies; we pay for their price-gouging; then, when they screw things up completely, we pay to ';bail'; them out.





Why do you think this is either reasonable or fair?





Who have been the two biggest spenders ever? Reagan and Dubya. So that ';massive government spending'; is a lie.





Where have you BEEN the last 28 years? The big spenders are the Republicans. It's just that all the spending goes to mass murder and enriching thieves, rather than to any services for 99% of us (like making sure our food isn't going to kill us, to take one example).





More people voted for Gore in 2000. More people voted for Kerry in 2004, but the computers were programmed to outvote us.
