If San Francisco is the beacon for Liberal Cities is legalizing prostitution, how is that good for America?

A lot of people think it's about taxing them.

Well let's say they do make it legal, then when there's no work, the government tells you ';prostitute yourself';.

Some people think you can just say no, but can you?

It is work and if it is legal, then you have to do it.

Imagine your 18 and a homeless virgin boy/girl.

Can you imagine the trauma these people will have to endure.

I don't think they should ever make it legal, just look the other way.If San Francisco is the beacon for Liberal Cities is legalizing prostitution, how is that good for America?
You do realize that the only reason why it's not legal is for the fact that you cannot tax prostitutes. Moreover, if you have sex for money, how is that anyone's business? I am not saying prostitution is a good thing. Why would you clamp down on prostitution when you would allow pornography, which is the same thing, except in front of a camera?

By the way, I live in San Francisco. We are not legalizing it. There's a proposition on our ballot for the people to vote on to decriminalize it.If San Francisco is the beacon for Liberal Cities is legalizing prostitution, how is that good for America?
Anytime you can make a victimless crime not a crime, it's a good thing. Less taxpayer money tied up in the court system and now you've created revenue for the federal and local governments who will be benefitting from the sex worker's income tax! Makes sense to me. Now maybe we can put our farmers to work by legalizing marijuana!
Actually, it's legal in most of Western Europe and is taxed. By making it illegal, you don't rid America of it. It still goes on. So if it's going to go on, they might as well pay their taxes like everyone else.

Why are you such a prude? No one will force you to go to a prostitute.

Decriminalizing --- not legalizing.
