Japanese people what do you think of the shift towards a more liberal governent?

I don't know that much about it but i became kinda interested after a person on facebook said she hated it. She is japanese by the way so i'd like to know what your views are.Japanese people what do you think of the shift towards a more liberal governent?
It surely is a big change in the Japanese political history. How far the change can be done and if it is successful are yet to be seen. But I personally think the political choice by the Japanese voters this time around is worthwhile to try, particularly for this country to adapt itself to rapidly emerging Asian economies.Japanese people what do you think of the shift towards a more liberal governent?
DPJ won the election on last Sunday. This will be the end of LDP ruling which has lasted for more than 50 years, with a brief interval.

But it does not necessarily mean Japan will be more liberal. We have to see what DPJ is going to do as a ruling party in Japan.

Their main policies will be

provide 26,000 yen every month for families with kids at 0-15 y.o.

reform social security

free public high school

and so on.

In my opinion, there is nothing in their policy I oppose. So I want to see how they are going to change Japan.
japans got the asian obama now
