What does it mean when you are very liberal ?

Can you please dumb it down for someone who really doesn't know anything about politics. We were talking about political view and someone said they were very liberal and I was just like oh ya and noddeed because I had no idea what it meant.What does it mean when you are very liberal ?
Liberals believe in freedom and love America. It's that simple.What does it mean when you are very liberal ?
It means that they are on the extreme left of the political scale. They are very radical in their ideology, such as thinking it's perfectly fair and reasonable to take money from someone who earned it and give it to someone that hasn't earned it. They also have no concept of logic.





They tend to hate capitalism, yet they love all the comforts and benefits that they enjoy from the same system. Dreamy ideas of socialism that may sound good but have never worked, ever and has always led to misery. They have an idea of Utopia, that's unrealistic.





Easy to spot one.
You would have to ask that specific person to define their views on various issues to fully understand what they meant. The definition varies from person to person.
It means you think the government is good and does good things for people and that private companies are evil and work against the people.
Depends on the issue. Many think they are but if they took the time to look into things they would find out they where not.
They don't either.
